MISSION STATEMENT
The Victorian Alliance of San Francisco (VASF) is committed to preserving and restoring historical structures in San Francisco. We encourage and support the retention, renovation, and restoration of most residential neighborhoods, regardless of architectural style.
Five functions of the VASF:
- Support those engaged in the task of restoration and preservation.
- Inform the public of the value of San Francisco’s architectural residential heritage.
- Raise funds to support restoration and preservation projects.
- Lobby and testify at city and neighborhood meetings when preservation issues arise.
- Sponsor social events and meetings where preservationists, city officials, homeowners, and the general public can meet and exchange views.
